Come join the fun and celebrate America's 250th with us in Crescent City! This old-fashioned community festival right in the beach front park is always a good time. I believe this will be our 15th year! They put on the largest Fireworks display north of the Bay Area! We hope to see you there!

🎆 Crescent City’s 4th of July Celebration Returns: Two Days of Music, Community, and Coastline Tradition
Crescent City is gearing up for one of the North Coast’s most beloved annual traditions — the Crescent City/Del Norte County Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Celebration, bringing two full days of festivities to the heart of town on July 3rd and July 4th.
This year’s celebration blends small‑town charm with big‑crowd energy: live music, local vendors, family activities, the iconic parade, and a fireworks show over the Pacific that draws spectators from across the region.
Friday, July 3rd — Deck Party Kickoff
The holiday weekend opens with a 5–8 PM Deck Party at the Clock Tower Parking Lot (3rd & K Streets).
Expect live music on the Elk Valley Casino stage, a community raffle, and refreshments. It’s cash‑only and lawn‑chair‑friendly — a relaxed coastal evening to ease into the holiday spirit.
Saturday, July 4th — A Full Day in Beachfront Park
The main celebration begins early:
7:00 AM — Free REMAX Hot Air Balloon Rides in Beachfront Park. DO NOT PARK ON FRONT STREET.
8:00 AM — Street closures begin for parade staging
8:30 AM — Parade lineup at 9th & H Street
10:00 AM —
• Parade begins with the traditional cannon signal
• 5K Fun Run registration and start at Pebble Beach Drive
• Marketplace, food vendors, and kids’ attractions open in Beachfront Park
Throughout the afternoon, the park fills with music, games, and friendly competition:
12:00 PM — Live music from The Mighty Steelheads
1:00 PM — Cow Chip Bingo
2:00 PM — Parade winners announced & Fireman Water Ball Challenge
3:00 PM — Live music from Black GTO
6:00 PM — Festival closes for the evening
Fireworks Over the Harbor
At 10:00 PM, the Lucky 7 Casino Firework Show lights up the Crescent City coastline.
Tune in to KCRE 94.3 FM, KPOD 97.9 FM, or KPOD AM1240/106.7 FM for the synchronized soundtrack.
Roads reopen at 10:30 PM.
July 5th — Community Cleanup
Redwoods Parks Conservancy is calling for volunteers to help restore South Beach after the festivities.
Cleanup runs 9 AM–12 PM, meeting next to Schmidt’s House of Jambalaya (110 Anchor Way).
