Not every repair will last forever. I always let my clients know, it's always a risk when having a broken rod repaired.
Sometimes the repair is ment to keep the rod alive, and filled with memories. Sometimes it's repaired in the hopes of catching "just one more fish".
It's really just up to the client.

Repairing rods can be frustrating at times. Difficult breaks, out of date materials, or guides that are no longer in production... But honestly that's also the best part. Preservation of something that has brought immeasurable amounts of joy and memories.
Watching the owner get reunited with something like that is 100% why I do what I do.
