Fixing someone else's work... This Bamboo rod was restored by someone else and the varnish started to chip away. So here I'm working at removing all the old varnish so it can be redone. 🫡🇺🇸

10 years of Waiting🐸
I just got in a couple PacBay Rainforest II Series rods

The customers original goal was to build them with his brother... Well, that was 10 years ago. 😳
I'm greatful for the opportunity to finish what they started. This one's on the work bench and I felt the need to test out the metallic green that the client has provided.
If you've made it this far... What do you think? Do you like the color. green on green? What about that cork grip and real seat?

Working on Rods and building them can be a very rewarding experience. Having a client drag you out on the water to do some bass fishing, well, that's just icing on the cake. 😉
