Happy 15 years to our little dream.
So much has changed for me in the last year & a half & thus things have changed at the shop.
There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss my sassy girl. I’ve found it hard sometimes to even walk through the doors. My heart has been broken in a way that I’m positive wont heal. It’s been hard to walk this path without her.
Everyone who means anything to me told me to wait a year before making any real decisions about the future of Sweet William. I wrestled so many days with so many feelings & whether or not I would be able to continue on how we had been going while Lori was still here. What would Lori want me to do? Am I letting her down?
I’ve considered so many things & wrestled with whether I’d be able to sleep at night if I walked away & pursued something entirely different. How easy & low stress would that be?
The truth is, this summer has made it abundantly clear that I am not able to continue doing business as we did when I had my backup. I have 3 kids & when someone isn’t available to be at the shop- that means they come to work with me 😅
I am overwhelmed at thinking about some of the times of year that hit us so hard only to be overwhelmed again by the times of year that we inch by on.
I have decided that in order to continue this place… it has to be something that works for me, that pours into me & that allows me to also be where I’m needed when I’m needed.
I’ve decided to prioritize how this place runs- I do apologize for our summer schedule- once school starts- we will have a much better set schedule to accommodate our customers!
All of that to say… Sweet William isn’t going anywhere, but we will be making changes soon- so stay tuned for that announcement!
Thank you for letting me share my raw thoughts with you.
15 years is something I’m super proud of. I hope she has been proud watching & silently criticizing some of my decisions ❤️
