It’s payday for my sweet vendors here at The Mission Market!

When I tell you I adore my girls…. I adore my girls!!! They don’t just drop a bunch of junk off at the store and hope for the best. They thrift, collect, clean, paint, refresh, rebuild, organize, sand, scrub, and THEN bring the items in to organize and curate some beautiful booth spaces for you to shop!

I love every aspect of this endeavor. I love the people God puts in my path either in thrifting, donating, or buying. I love telling them how God is using them in our community to give back through proceeds from or missions fund.

I love my repeat customers who come in every week to see what new treasures we have brought in. They are always SO GRACIOUS to tell us what a beautiful store we have. It makes my heart beam!

I love our new customers who walk in for the first time and go “Whoah! We didn’t even know this place existed. This is awesome!” It makes me giddy as I get to tell them the story behind the store and our mission statement.

I love writing checks to pay the rent and utilities. Yes, you read that right, I love paying the electric bill. It means God has provided that month and we get to continue operating the store. We are to be thankful for everything!

Today it’s quiet…except for the clicking of my calculator. The peace that surrounds me as I set here and pray over my girls, my customers, and the numbers…. Well, let’s just say I’m overwhelmed with Gods goodness.

I’m blessed beyond measure!

I spent WAY too much time on it, but it’s probably my GOAT! 😉

Only 14 more shelves to go to be ready for tomorrow, but here is your sneak peak at my introduction to fall decor.

I CAN’T WAIT for you to see what my vendors are bringing in!!! It’s 9,000 degrees outside, but the FALL VIBE has taken over here at the store!

Why is there an empty space at The Mission Market?

I’m SO GLAD you asked!

While my husband is at a music practice doing what he loves, I’m at the store doing something I love. Creating fun and unique vignettes for new treasures that come to the store is one of my passions. I absolutely love thrifting and sourcing new items is fun, but THIS!!! Creating new displays for our sweet customers… I could do this for days!!!

GOOD MORNING from The Mission Market!!!!

This morning Ammie and I took some pictures of some of our favorite items (hence EVERYTHING) and wanted to share them with you!

Several of my sweet vendors and I did a store reset this past week and we are SO EXCITED to show you the displays filled with NEW treasures! Like I CAN’T EVEN begin to tell you how much we love the new layout! They did an AMAZING job with their new spaces!

The patriotic items flew out the door this summer and we are blown away 🧨🎇 (see what I did there 😉) by the sales of them!!! We live in the best country and are so proud to be able to show our patriotism to our leaders and military!

We are going to continue with our summer items, BUT a couple of my vendors are EAGER to get the FALL items in their booths! So stay tuned for all the pumpkins, fall candle scents, and porch decor, coming in SOON! I’ve had a sneak peek and you are going to LOVE IT! I may even have a table-scape designed in my mind and am itching to get it displayed with MY favorite fall finds.

So to make room in a couple of MY areas, I’m going to run a SALE TODAY on all my PICTURES, FRAMES, and BOOKS. I’m going to do a 20% discount on ANYTHING in a frame and ANY book marked booth 17. So if you have had your eye on one of the pieces in my booth, today is the day to come get them!

We can’t wait to see you, so get out on this beautiful day and come fellowship with us!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY, so my friends can come and play!!! ☔️

Put on your galoshes and puddle jump your way to The Mission Market this morning!!! 💦 We are excited to show you new inventory that we have brought in! It’s starting to really look like summer with the patriotic decor and what a perfect time to start displaying your RED, WHITE, & BLUE! 🎆

I’m personally cleaning and tagging new items from my storage unit this week and can’t wait to fill my spaces here and my booth over in Iron Horse Primitives in Cameron. (I will show those pictures later.) 🏷️

We have had a lot of customers ask about specific items such as quilts, dish sets, tables, and pictures, and asked if we could keep an eye out for them. We love shopping for you and saving you the leg work of driving all over when you can be comfy at home. 👀

We would love to see your smiling face today! You have been such a blessing to us and can’t wait to fellowship with you soon!!!

Good morning from The Mission Market!!!

My vendors and I have refreshed our booths and I can’t wait for you to see them either in store or from their social media posts.

But this morning I wanted to share the heartbeat behind what we do through The Mission Market outreach.

Every month (or thereabouts) we pray over an individual, family, or organization that we can bless. My vendors give generously through proceeds from their booth sales, whatever God lays on their heart to give, through our “Change for Charity” box, donations given by customers, or items donated by customers. And we collect that money at the end of the month and do our best to give back to the community.

This month we were able to bless a sweet family that suffered the loss of a baby. While money could NEVER replace that loss, we pray that it helps cover some medical expenses, bills, or whatever the family needs.

We LOVE our community and are so blessed to be able to give back because God has blessed us BEYOND measure!!!

THANK YOU for continuing to visit and fellowship with us here at The Mission Market! We can’t wait to see you this weekend!!!

While you are out and about dodging raindrops, stop in at The Mission Market to see Carol’s newest creation! These strawberry bowl fillers are worth coming in to see on their own.

But while you are here, you have see all the newest treasures the rest of my vendors have brought in. We have flowers, patriotic decor, new furniture, baskets, picture frames, candles, vases, pictures, and I could list a hundred more items. (Check out Mel’s video from this morning to get a sneak peek of the goodness!)

We are open today until 5 and then tomorrow 8-3.

When you donate and think you are just getting rid of or decluttering, you are actually giving back to your community. These books were donated to us when we first opened the store, and have been waiting for the right person to take them home.

Well, today was the day! A sweet momma came in to shop our store and fell in love with these books! She was excited to have them and when I told her about our mission to give back to the community she had the biggest smile!

100% of the sale from these books went into our missions offering and we can’t wait to pay it forward. We are so blessed by our community and can’t wait to bless our next family with the proceeds of this months sales.
