We are the home of the Chimayo Production Loom, we also are dealers for some of the leading world fiber equipment.

We will be closed till Thursday due to the wild fire in the mountains above us. Chimayo has a lot of service vehicles in the area as they mitigate this wildfire.

We took our weavings to the NM state fair. Three Chimayo/Rio Grande weaving and one men’s Chimayo jacket.

Santa Fe County moved Cundiyo and Cerro Piñon to Ready status as the Frijoles Fire activity increased and closed NM 503 to most traffic.

Please be advised that during these times of global warming heat we may be closed during the hottest times of the day. We will try to open after hours if you are in need of our fiber services, 5 pm to 7 pm. We have no air conditioning and our adobe home/studio gets very hot. So we seek out things to do to keep us cool. Sorry for the inconvenience but fall/winter will soon be here.
