Our eco-friendly accessories artists will not only be part of a unique immersive display, they will also be available to chat, answer questions, and even have pieces available for purchase.

Starting with a Trash Market staple and self-taught silver smith Eryn with Modestly Wicked Creations.

"I was born and raised a Florida native with family heritage that stems generations back in the Bay and Franklin county areas.

I’m a self-taught silver smith and was inspired by my grandmothers love of jewelry to create my own.
Jewelry can be the biggest statement that a person wears. I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces by either fabricating something I create by hand, or repurposing the damaged or forgotten, forging something new and alive.

Over the years my passion for creating has grown beyond jewelry to include repurposing cigar boxes into jewelry boxes, resurrecting drab home décor into darker gothic themes, and cultivating other people’s trash to be reborn into unique treasures."

Have a broken piece of jewelry that is too special to throw away? Bring it to Eryn! She will turn your piece into a wearable work of art.

HE DIDN’T STUDY ELEVATOR REPAIR!
This particular Carl studied furniture 🪑
(ATHF, anyone?)

What we’ve got here is a Carl Forslund piece. He was a respected Grand Rapids, MI furniture maker known for high-quality Early American furniture and often using the word “quaint” in his marketing. The Forslund Furniture company started around 1935 and closed its doors around 1991/92, with several name changes in between.

Some interesting tid bits for you:
🪑 Carl Forslund worked for the Stickley Bros before leaving and starting his own furniture business. If you know furniture, you know Stickley.
🪑 The company would give their workers a piece of furniture every year in appreciation. Some families ended up with multiple pieces for those that stayed a while.
🪑 They often named their furniture after famous folks, like the “Rip Van Lee Chair” which was pretty popular (and took about 6 months to fill for the order)

This particular piece is the Beth Lee Canterbury Magazine Rack… but she can do way more than that. This baby is large and can be in charge of sheet music, records, knitting supplies, and yup, even all them books on your TBR list.

Did I mention she’s solid cherry?
