Meet Our Vendor: Charlie’s Sugar Shop

We’re excited to introduce you to Ralph & Beth Bakke, the sweet team behind Charlie’s Sugar Shop!

Beth’s love of baking started when she was young, baking alongside her mom. She always dreamed of opening a bakery, and after spending 20 years teaching, she finally gets to do what she always wanted to do when she grew up!

At Charlie’s Sugar Shop, every cookie is made from scratch and baked with plenty of love. And if you’re looking for a cookie that’s a little over-the-top in the best possible way, you’ll definitely want to check out their 4.5 oz cookies!

Beth’s favorite is the Caramel Waffle Cone. She loves caramel, she loves waffle cones, so naturally, putting the two together into one delicious cookie was a perfect match!

And their recommended way to enjoy their cookies? Well… apparently, you eat the entire 4.5 oz cookie in one sitting and wash it down with one of their delicious drinks. No judgment here. We support this plan!

Here’s a fun fact about the Bakke family: They have five kids ranging from 32 all the way down to 4, plus a 5-year-old grandson.

As for hobbies? They say they don’t really have any.

“We don’t have hobbies, we just have kids with hobbies.”

If that doesn’t perfectly describe family life, we don’t know what does!
