Our aquatic plant selection includes Perennial ( Hardy) and Annual (tropical) waterlilies. Lotus, Floating plants, submerged plants and a wide selection of plants for around your pond. Our distinctive selection of koi, goldfish and other fish have been a favorite amongst our customers for years. Choose from standard fin or butterfly koi: scaled or scaleless, and a varieties of scale types such as Gin Rin. We also offer a wide variety of dwarf conifers to complete your landscape around your pond. These unique trees provide r special texture, color and form to your landscape. Visit us in Churchville, New York just 14 miles west of Rochester. We are 2 miles from Interstate 490 and close the the New York State Thruway.

Happy Big 5th Birthday to our Facilities Manager Jia Jia. Jia Jia is incharge on mink eradication, musk rat detetection, rat and and mouse elimination and expelling blue herons. Let's not forget the geese as well every April and May. He still has major reservations about garter snakes :). Thanks to Jia Jia, Bergen Water Gardens remains intact and undisturbed.

Folks wonder why do not grow edible lotus in our ponds. It would certainly be a challenge to find employees to work the ponds :), not to mention the cost of dry suits! This young lady has been growing and harvesting lotus for 4 years in China, a true, dedicated entrepreneur! She broadcasts her harvesting on a live stream everyday this time of year. Blasts out the mud, then rips the tubers out.

We will be open on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 till 5, Labor Day Weekend. We will be CLOSED on Monday, Labor Day as we are acquiring some more plants. We are also closed on Tuesday as we have a tour for the Batavia Garden Club followed by a dash to Buffalo. Larry Nau will be giving a program on Thailand Orchid Nurseries at 6 pm for the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society. The meeting will be held in the administration building at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. YES! We will bring a great assortment of orchids for sale, plus some carnivorous plants. Note we will be cutting back our weekday hours soon.
