I’m walking through our well known international store called Jungle Jim’s, looking for some turkey wings with my Goodness Is On The Rise T-Shirt in brown on, and an African-American man stopped me and said “Goodness Is On The Rise, I like that.”

I introduced myself as the maker of this apparel, he asked “are you local”, and I responded by handing him my business card saying yes. He says “I’m going to website to purchase one today.”

That is a good feeling when good is recognized, reading my shirt instantly made him feel good and he made sure I knew it.

When I wear our ‘statement profound’ apparel it gets the attention of the public, I watch people’s eyes, and many go directly to the language that I’m wearing coming straight from the mind of W. D. Mohammed and re-initiated correctly in this time after him by his successor, Imam Earl Abdulmalik Mohammed. True Statement!

We received interest in our bold, beautiful products from our promotion here on social media.

One such conversation led to a possible new meaningful product, Imam W. Deen Mohammed’s language on a female hoodie.

“As-salaam-Alaikum, I love your apparel! Please could you possibly make some sweatshirts with your various slogans like the pictures above. Thanks”

We made this hoodie with the split and shipped it, and the response was, “As-salaam-Alaikum I received my hoodie and I love it. Thanks!”

Listen to what Imam W. Deen Mohammed said in 1978:

“I know some of you wonder… what kind of nature we have, I often wondered. I’m telling you the biggest puzzle to me was understanding the nature of the Bilalian people or Afro-American people, some of you don’t like the term Bilalian, it is ok with me, if you like the term Afro-American then we can still talk.

But, you know the term Afro-American was a compromise. Afro-American, why cut the word short? Because the ni***rs wasn’t ready to say African, they were afraid to identify with Africa, so Marcus Garvey ….Afro-American, that’s cutting the word short, that’s just like an Irish-American calling himself Ire-American, the Irish-American he’s not afraid to use the whole name Irish-American. And I’m telling you until we get that same kind of respect, get rid of that ol fear in us, an unnecessary fear, an uncalled for fear in 1978.”

He says until we “get rid of that ol fear in us, an unnecessary fear, an uncalled fear…”, the plantation ghost that he is referring to is still a big problem and hinderance in the lives of too many so-called Black folks! We still afraid to be our own man (mind)!

The spokesperson (IEAM) representing the Tradition of thinking and emphasis of Imam W. Deen Mohammed will be delivering a major address Juneteenth weekend: Enlightenment, Dignity, Excellence and Establishment: Islam’s Help to the Needy and Affluent.
