You can never go wrong with roses and pinks! This late summer wedding used blushing tones of pink every step of the way. Rose petals welcomed guests into the ceremony space to set the romantic tone of the evening. At the end of the aisle, an asymmetrical rose garden trellis framed a picture perfect moment for the Newlyweds. Pinecroft's beauty was elevated with a ombre gradient wall of roses, cascading from dark rich tones into blushing soft tones of pink. A wow moment shaping the desert table and perfect for photos throughout the night!

We had a wonderful time at the Little Creek Valley Flower Farm this weekend! Farmers Brad and Shelly shared their home with us for the day and invited us all to explore the farm, and pick our own bucket of fresh, sustainable flowers. We source many of our dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, lisianthus, celosia and many more from their farm. We enjoyed a home cooked lunch with food grown on the farm and sourced locally. Afterward, our designer Amy led us all in a demonstration, and then our students created lush arrangements from their picked farm flowers. Each arrangement was unique with personality, showing off what colors and textures each person was drawn toward! We look forward to our weekly deliveries from Brad and we're so thankful to bring our students closer to a piece of the floral harvesting process. We look forward to this every year and hold onto the memories after every trip. A huge thank you to Brad and Shelly at Little Creek Valley Flower Farm and to all of our students!

Dragonfly or Mango? Why not both! Garden-style X-pression Roses add intrigue and vibrant texture to the rose family. The Mango X-pression Rose is a peachy ombre rose with a spiked green center, the Dragonfly X-pression Rose is a pinky coral rose with decadent petals wrapping more tightly as they get closer to the center. We love to incorporate them into designs for clients who like a traditional look with a twist.

We love working with unique venues! The Newport Car Barn provides a space unlike any other in Cincinnati. The 1899 Greenline Car Barn has been renovated to bring historic charm to modern events. This couple renovates historic buildings, and so they were drawn to the NCB's architecture and charm. White garden florals complimented the historic brick perfectly. Alongside the Newport Car Barn's built-in drapery, the couple also incorporated eight different hanging floral elements and chandeliers to fill the vast ceiling space to make the reception more intimate. A wonderful space for a beautiful couple!

A local summer staple! Sunflowers are native to North America and were grown by Indigenous people over 4,500 years ago. They have a unique behavior in their early growing stage, called heliotropism, where their face is angled at the sun at all times. The buds rotate from east to west as the day continues. The tallest recorded sunflower was over 35 ft tall in Indiana. A sunflower provides warm bright energy into arrangements and gives us a sense of summer nostalgia anytime we work with them! We source our Sunflowers from Little Creek Valley Flower Farm and they are available early July to mid fall.

Need help bringing your wedding vision to life? Let us take some of your to-do list! Robin Wood Flowers' Full Wedding Design includes Floral design and coordinating with vendors for: table top rentals, linens, lighting, and draping!

Our full design for J+L on their special day included climbing florals up the stairs and columns to create a grand entrance to St. Stephen Church. Their seating chart bloomed out of our Chinoiserie vases, with the help of mock orange for shaping and depth. Low lush centerpieces featured soft shades of blue alongside fluffy white peonies, paired with the embroidered linens, rattan charger and light blue linen napkin seamlessly. Their design looked organic while being perfectly planned out. Blending modern taste with the traditions of Cincinnati Country Club.
