The suitcase full of books we sent to Uganda back in January just keeps on giving! Donna sent me this video last week and you can’t help but smile. They are reading Happy Pig Day by Mo Williams. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I’m exhausted, my feet are exhausted, and my crew is exhausted but, boy, are our hearts full 🧡 We had a record breaking weekend and we owe it all to you! Thank you for your book loving hearts. Thank you for your smiles, thank you for your purchases and thank you for your patience when our ipads acted up. As you know, 100% of our profits will be used to buy new books to donate to local schools and organizations. We’ll be getting lots of books in kids’ hands! You are helping us fuel children’s literacy one book at a time. Thank You for showing up and supporting us! 🧡

You’ll be visiting a lot of bookstores this weekend so you might be looking for something unique. We have new merch (candles, magnets, stickers) and of course we have our Book Bus Exclusives. These are books from women owned publishers that are not available locally. I hope you have fun browsing and find a hidden gem.

Our super talented Heidi has once again been busy sewing up her creations! And just in time for the Bookstore Crawl! Not only does Heidi hand sew each tote she also designs the fabric. She’s amazing! I’m completely smitten with the fall vibes of the new bookshelf tote with that adorable cup of tea. The Cincinnati tote is a crowd pleaser and will be perfect for visiting all the bookstores on your route around the city. Both are available in large and small size (depending on how many books you plan on buying 😉) They make great gifts too!

Are you ready to crawl?!! Stop by to pick up your preordered tote or purchase one if you’d like to have it ready to go for game day. Otherwise we will have them for sale during the crawl. They do sell out quickly! Passports can be picked up starting on Friday, October 2nd from any of the stores on your route. The crawl runs from Friday through Sunday (Oct 2-4) Can’t wait!
