Scott Moore is an experienced violin and viola pedagogue and performing violinist in the Cincinnati area. He graduated with a B. in violin performance from Bob Jones University in 2007, having studied with Achim Ge**er. In 2009 he received his M. from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, studying with Piotr Milewski. Other teachers include Masao Kawasaki, Haixin Wu, and Ti

mothy Lees. Scott has performed with the Spartanburg (SC) Philharmonic, the American Academy of Conducting Orchestra at Aspen, and is a substitute violinist with the Dayton Philharmonic and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. He also performs chamber music extensively throughout the Cincinnati/Dayton area. Scott enjoys cooking, reading, and studying church history and evangelicalism. He also greatly enjoys traveling with Jessica, who is an expert planner, navigator, and packer. Jessica Moore is the founding director of the Middletown Christian Schools Strings Program and the conductor of choirs at MCS. She has seventeen years' experience teaching violin, viola and piano to students with a wide range of talents. Jessica began her studies with Ann Wood (violin) and Lorrayne Krans (piano). She received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with a concentration in violin from Bob Jones University in 2007, studying with Dianne Pinner. When she's not teaching, Jessica enjoys scrapbooking, bargain hunting, playing with their cats Lucy and Rhoda, and traveling with Scott, the ever-intrepid driver.

Looking for some great FREE music this weekend? Come to the Cincinnati Art Museum for Chamberpalooza, an afternoon of fabulous classical chamber music played in the beauty of the Art Museum (free admission, though parking may not be free).

While you're there, stop by the instrument petting zoo and say hi to Scott as he demonstrates all manner of stringed instruments!
