Silas is in the shop today getting the rough graduation done on this cello back for me while I lay out the scroll. It's great to have him here helping out in meaningful ways!

The bones of a cello emerge. It kinda reminds me of the images of the Death Star under construction....

Well, it appears I have a new shop assistant. No name yet for this guy, but he seems ok with me calling him "Cat." Suggestions?

Fall is a great time to freshen up your set up and make sure your instrument is performing at its best. Cincinnati and other nearby musicians, I would love to help as you begin a new school year or season!

I had the pleasure of hearing my niece, Karissa give a beautiful performance of the Mendelssohn violin concerto today. I am also honored that she is playing a violin that I made recently. I always love finding homes for my instruments, but it feels so good to have another one stay in the family!
