I recently watched a documentary about National Geographic photographer Michael Yamash*ta, who set out to document the ancient Tea Horse Road before it disappeared beneath modern roads and development. His journey, the stories and the photos are incredibles. I just had to tracked down his book, Shangri-La: Along the Tea Road to Lhasa.It is the perfect companion to our Month of Pu-erh celebration.
