Hey Made It’s!
World Card Making Day is this Saturday, October 3rd,and I’ve got something FUNN to tell you—I’ll be the first crafter participating in Craft Roulette’s big World Card Making Day event!

And I don’t just want you to watch…I want you to make a card with us!

Here’s how it works:

On Friday night, Craft Roulette will reveal the parameters during their regular episode.

Then on Saturday, we’ll all use those same parameters to create our cards during the World Card Making Day event.

And when I say ALL of us, I mean YOU too!

You can make your card right along with us and submit it to the Craft Roulette gallery.

It’s completely FREE to participate, and you do not need an account to submit your card.

Even better—if you submit your card while the event is LIVE on Saturday, your card could pop up on screen during the show!

Craft Roulette’s current record is 526 card submissions on a single episode, and they’re hoping we can absolutely SMASH that record for World Card Making Day.

You know I love seeing just how much we can get from a paper pack, but this time we’re changing things up in a BIG way!

Instead of our usual card size, we’re taking As Many As into A9 territory and making some seriously BIG handmade cards.

How many A9 cards can we make? How will the larger size change the way we use our patterned paper? And will As Many As work just as well when we go BIG?

A9 card base: start with a piece of cardstock that measures 8.1/2 x 11 and score on the 11 inch side at 5. 1/2 for a card base that is 5. 1/2 x 8. 1/2

Actually it is, but you'll love it! I cannot beleive that I couldn't get this to work until I changed to much lighter weight card stock! You know I always preach thicker card stock...this one can't handle it!

Do you ever make things harder than they need to be in the craft room? I caught myself doing exactly that while working on a new project, and it sent me back to something I hadn’t thought about in years. Today we’re pulling out an old idea, looking at it with fresh eyes, and seeing if sometimes the answer we’re searching for is one we already had all along!
