Ever wonder what a day at Craft-a-Cropolis looks like? ☕✂️

It starts with coffee...

Then you sit down at your table, pick up the project you've been excited to work on, and suddenly a few hours disappear.

You laugh with friends.

Find inspiration walking around the room.

Maybe do a little shopping.

Take an optional class.

Head out for lunch with new friends.

Then come back and create some more.

There's no rush.

No pressure.

No cleaning everything up at the end of the day.

Just time to enjoy doing what you love with people who love it too.

That's the magic of Craft-a-Cropolis.

Coming alone? ❤️
The best friendships at Craft-a-Cropolis usually begin with one simple question...

👇 "What are you working on?"

One conversation.
One shared bottle of glue.
One compliment on a handmade card.

That's often all it takes.

Every Craft-a-Cropolis, we welcome people who come with friends...and people who come all by themselves.

By the end of the week, they're laughing together, sharing ideas, cheering each other on, and already making plans to come back next time.

That's one of my favorite things about this event.

Yes, you'll make beautiful projects.

But even more importantly, you'll find people who understand why creating brings you so much joy.

Please forgive my sound issues, that is the nature of the beast when you are moving into a studio!

I think I have them fixed for the future, trust me, it annoys me and Tamatha more than it does anyone else!

Craft-a-Cropolis!

Twice a year, creative friends gather in Clanton, Alabama for five days of paper crafting, card making, scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, and lots of laughter.

Some come with friends.�Some come by themselves.

Some have been crafting for years. Others are coming to their very first retreat.

Some are paper crafters.
�Some are card makers.
�Some love scrapbooking.
�Some quilt.
�Some sew.
�Some create a little bit of everything!

Some come with a group of friends.....and many come by themselves.

By the end of the week, they're all sharing ideas, encouraging each other, celebrating finished projects, and making memories that last long after the event is over.
