Charity isn’t always writing a check. Sometimes it’s donating clothes you no longer need. Sometimes it’s shopping a resale boutique knowing your purchase helps someone else.

It’s giving a few hours of your time. Sharing someone’s story. Nominating a woman who could use a hand getting to her next chapter. Helping fill a grief box for a child who has lost a parent. Saying, “I can help with that.”

And sometimes it’s simply noticing when someone around you could use a little extra kindness.

On International Day of Charity, we’re especially grateful for every person who has helped Made for More become what it is - our donors, shoppers, volunteers, local businesses, community partners and the people who quietly step up whenever there is a need.

Made for More has never been about one person doing something huge. It’s about a whole lot of people doing what they can, and together, that becomes something pretty incredible.

So today we’d love to hear from you. What is one simple way you’ve seen someone make a difference in our community?

✨ NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! ✨

The Made for More Next Chapter Scholarship is officially accepting nominations for their next round of awards.

This scholarship was created for women who are ready to move forward into a new season of life , whatever that next chapter may look like.

It could mean going back to school.
Starting something new.
Learning a new skill.
Rebuilding after a difficult season.
Or simply getting the support she needs to take her next step.

Each quarter, Made for More will award:

💛 One $1,200 scholarship
💛 One $600 scholarship

Nominees must be women age 18 or older, and self-nominations are not accepted.

So today, we’re asking you to think about the women in your life.

Who is working hard to create something better?
Who has a dream she keeps putting off?
Who is rebuilding, beginning again, or bravely stepping into something new?

Maybe she just needs someone else to believe in her enough to nominate her.

Every little corner is being thought through.
Every display has a purpose.
Every maker they bring in is part of the bigger vision for creating a shop filled with unique, creative, one-of-a-kind finds you’ll actually be excited to discover.

And they’re still building.

One of our favorite signs that fall is on the way is seeing these beauties arrive at The Sweet Shop!

Thick caramel. All the toppings. Absolutely no graceful way to eat one - and completely worth it.
