I came across Miss Tea Positive's post about Self-Care 101 and thought I would share her Slef-Care Checklist for Beginners.

She starts out by sharing that Self Care is prioritizing and taking care of yourself in subtle ways rather than indulging in frequent pleasures. It includes taking charge of your health in all three major areas of your life: body, mind, and spirit.

According to Miss Tea - achieving overall well-being requires a balance of all 5 types of self-care practices.
Physical self-care - Emotional Self-care - Social self-care - Intellectual self-care & Spiritual self-care

Here is tip #1 and it's not all that surprising:

Make sure you stay hydrated - adequate water intake helps speed up your metabolism and attentiveness.
