This week marks the last late Thursday of the farmers market season, but there is so much fun ahead! In just a few weeks we’ll be celebrating the spooky and spellbound during the Moonlight & Magic Stroll, October 9. Mark your calendars now to enjoy the ✨Market by Moonlight✨ 6pm to 8pm at Highpoint Event Center, a yummy dinner at Mill Creek Cafe and some very special happenings at Onion Grove Mercantile. The Clarence Public Library is even hosting a Glow Party for the kiddos!✨

The day started with making this adorable little bat lip balm holder and led to needing a new tote to put it on….so the day of sewing was a gift for myself! The bat is just the cutest and I’ll definitely be adding these to the inventory at Onion Grove!! Who doesn’t need a little bat hanging upside down from their bag? 🦇🖤

Every ghosty book-loving person is going to flip when they see these ADORABLE earrings from Hello Neighbor Art. I had already taken home the day and night design, as well as the spring geese….but the ghosts just jumped straight into my pocket. And just so you know, ghosts go with every outfit. 👻

I’ve spent the last few weeks collecting new bits and bobs to include on the Clarence history collage notecards. A new batch is coming soon. It’s been really fun sending the first batch home with all their new owners and hearing why folks identify with the photos. I’ll be bringing back a couple photos that were the most asked about and a whole new crop of historic images.

As summer winds down we’ve been busy preparing for some big changes. We just got our oldest, Marshall, settled into his apartment for his last year at Iowa State University and will be sending our youngest, Clancey, off to Columbia University in NYC this week. The mercantile will be closed this week, lots of packing and special treats to be had. In the meantime I’ve been loading LOTS of new things onto our online shop! Including this adorable Jimothy magnet. I’ve really loved following along on socials about this beautiful raccoon story. He was born just a little different but his family makes sure he has everything he needs. 🖤
