Dear Readers,

I’m back on a ship, which I love doing. I was going to just sail and enjoy myself but days ago, a tiny plot idea came to me. I’ve now written thousands of words of an outline. It’s very old fashioned with lies and underhanded subplots.
So far, I have 2 gorgeous men fighting over my heroine. Well, one wants her because his father is demanding it and the other one doesn’t think she can do the job. I keep laughing because she’s going to get them both back. 1870 Colorado.
I’m in South Korea today and I’m going to a big beautiful garden mall where I can sit under the trees and make notes. Oh yes, if any of you have heard about the Korean makeup that goes on white then changes to your skin color, they haven’t heard of it here in Korea. This place is really beautiful and very modern. The people are polite and beautifully dressed.

Today I will be at the Asotin County Library at 5:30 pm selling books for Everybody Reads 2026. Marie Bostwick will speak at
6 pm about her writing career and her latest book, THE BOOK CLUB FOR TROUBLESOME WOMEN.

Tomorrow I will be at the Lewiston City Library at 3:40 pm. Marie speaks at 4 pm.

A man who went missing while hiking in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest on Sunday was found alive and relatively healthy by Idaho County Sheriff deputies on Wednesday afternoon.

Ty Randolph “Randy” Thurman, 63, suffered from dehydration and had a few minor injuries following three nights in the mountains near Coffee Can Saddle, according to a news release from the county.
