We’re here now by Lake Devernia until about 1:00 or so today!

Yesterday was a little different… I spent the day making pickles and ended up with 24 quarts! 🥒

I have a whole new appreciation for all of y’all who spend days in the kitchen canning. It was a lot more work than I expected, but I sure enjoyed it. Now I’m looking forward to cracking open that first jar!

I’m elbow-deep in pickle making! Between fresh picklers, hot brine, and canning jars, I’ll be busy most of the day. If all goes well, there’ll be some homemade dill pickles before long!
