Tough news for this year’s peach crop, but the spirit behind The Johnson County Peach Festival is still going strong. 🍑

🍑 Good morning, Peach Festival family! 🍑

Like many of you, we are heartbroken over the unfortunate loss of this year’s Johnson County peach crop. Farming is never guaranteed, and this is a challenge our Festival and our friends at Peach Pickin’ Paradise face each and every season.

While there may be limited or no Johnson County-grown peaches available at this year’s festival, we are working closely with other Arkansas orchards that are expecting a strong harvest to help ensure festival-goers can still enjoy fresh, Arkansas-grown peaches during the 85th Annual Johnson County Peach Festival.
Thanks to the incredible support of volunteers with trucks, trailers, manpower, and a true love for our community, we are committed to bringing peaches to downtown Clarksville at an affordable, “local” price.

We encourage everyone to continue supporting our local orchards and farming families during this difficult season. Your support means more than ever.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to downtown Clarksville in less than two short months as we celebrate Arkansas’ Longest Running Festival! 🍑❤️

SUMMER HEAT ON STANDBY? 👀

The latest CPC outlooks highlight below average temperatures through the end of May and early June.

Will it be cold? No.

Will it be warm? Yes.

Will it be 110°? No!

If you’re interested in scorching summer heat, you will need to wait awhile, we all know it is coming anyway.

Summer doesn’t technically start until late June, but we all know early June and forward is generally pretty warm around here.

It’s nice knowing we might get a slow introduction into Arkansas summer, also known as hell’s front porch.
