This is what reselling really looks like.

The struggle of keeping up with inventory is real. Itā€™s way more fun to buy than it is to process, list, test, photograph, and ship everything.

What youā€™re seeing here:

Good thing I only paid $20 for it so I donā€™t mind paying for extra shipping supplies and large boxes.

I estimate after fees and shipping Iā€™d still make $150-$180.

Would you have even considered flipping such a heavy item with shipping?

Itā€™s hard to beat this hourly rate. Add another 60-90 min for packing and shipping. Looking at 3 hours of work for $1200...

I found this Panasonic SA-EN17 for $10 at a yard sale. It even had the remote, and it was compact enough that I would be motivated to ship it.

A couple reseller tips:

āœ… Always look up the model number on the back. Old electronics can surprise you.

āœ… I also like to check sold comps as ā€œuntestedā€ or ā€œas-isā€ so I know my worst-case scenario before buying. That way I can make sure thereā€™s still room for profit.

I bought a bin full of Marvel Legends figures and worked out a deal that came to just $2 per figure.šŸ’„

A few of them have already sold for $25-$60 each, so it wonā€™t take many more sales before Iā€™ve got all my money back and the rest of the bin is pure profit.

This is exactly why I love buying collections and bundle deals. Sometimes the best finds arenā€™t a single itemā€”theyā€™re the entire lot.

I immediately recognized it because Iā€™ve seen other resellers feature it before.

This Might Be My Rarest Jellycat Yard Sale Find

Youā€™re not going to believe this yard sale find! I picked up this giant Ice Cream Jellycat plush for just $1.

To show how massive it is, I compared it to a regular-sized Jellycat bunny that I also found in a $1 bin at another yard sale.

The crazy part? This Ice Cream Jellycat can sell for $120+! Yard sales continue to be the best treasure hunts.
