Your New Class is Ready! Register for Hand Building and Sculpture with Val, beginning September 24 at 6:00 pm. Val graduated from Ringling College Of Art and Design in 2022 with a BFA in illustration. They found ceramics during their studies and never looked back. Val's kind-hearted direction will take you gently through sculpture and hand building. Andrea DeShano is a long-time Detroit artist known for her whimsical and bold clay characters—aliens, chicken-men, little piggies, and the occasional politician all emerge from clay. In this class, you'll explore sculptural and functional forms with attitude, meaning, and maybe a bit of mischief. Andrea’s hands-on, story-driven approach welcomes beginners, intermediates, and advanced students alike. Let your imagination take the wheel—this class is where clay gets weird, wild, and wonderful. Join Andrea and the crew for Wednesday night hand building, classes begin August 19th.
