We’re excited to announce that our humidor is now stocked and we’re offering a selection of premium hand-rolled ci**rs!

Most of you have heard about the injunction that was awarded regarding the NFA by a district judge in Texas who ruled that that National Fi****ms Act (NFA) registration and regulatory requirements for suppressors and certain short-barreled fi****ms are unconstitutional under Article I because Congress previously removed the associated taxes. As of midnight this morning the stay of this ruling expired, and several suppressors were indeed transferred over the counter a few min after midnight in Texas.

However, while the state of GA joined as a plaintiff state that doesn't mean that GA fi***rm dealers can bypass the Form4 process for all customers at this time. GA state law specifically reads in O.C.G.A. § 16-11-124, possession of a suppressor is only lawful in Georgia if it is "lawfully possessed" and "modified in compliance with the National Fi****ms Act". In simpler terms in GA a person may only possess a suppressor if the NFA process was followed and you have an approved Form4. Because of this wording it does not matter if GA residents are a member of an organization that was a plaintiff on the injunction (Such as the Gun Owners of America) or not.

As you can tell, the situation is still very fluid. As for Trinity Precision we are doing business as usual until we have further guidance from the state, the ATF, or until the injunction changes from being plaintiff-specific to a nationwide repeal. It's not worth risking breaking the law for us as the FFL or you as the consumer. There will be TONS of information coming out today that should further clarify some things, but be wary of all of the misinformation that will surely come out with it. Also keep in mind that the defendants have approx 2 months from August 5th to appeal the decision which would really muddy the waters.
