I took some advice from a friend this weekend: “Just post the pictures!”

So, here they are. 💗

Kara & Caleb’s wedding flowers.

Classic and timeless, just like Kara herself.

I love that we were able to capture her “first look” at the bouquet. That little moment makes me so happy.

Kara & Caleb, I hope your love is like the wind that day — strong, unforgettable, and carrying just a hint of lavender in the air. 💟

Now, back to me. :)

Last night, I walked out to the a lot and saw two little brothers happily swinging away on the porch swing. One of them, just learning the fine points of sentence structure, pointed to the grain bin and asked, “What is that?”

Visions of a grain bin bar, events, wrought iron fences and brick pillars filled my head...

What actually came out was, “Uh...er...a grain bin?”

As I watched those little guys, as happy as could be on a summer night, I realized that in that moment, the "a lot" had done exactly what I imagined it would do...and my heart was so happy.

This morning, my phone reminded me what that same space looked like one year ago — an empty lot and a newly delivered 70 year-old grain bin boasting in faded paint, “Sold by Hurdles Hardware.” (The painter's spelling, not mine.) :)

Oh — and Bruce sitting in the background supervising while I painted the bin.

So much can change in a year.

The once empty lot now has a “secret garden”, a weird tree out front that I lovingly call "Snuffleupagus", and people gather here...the Kentucky Derby party....Swiftie floral workshops...

Things I once saw only in my imagination became real.

Running a business is books and balances, bank accounts and assets. But it's also a vision you hope you get the chance to watch come to life.

Eventually, though, the vision also has to figure out how to support itself.

At the end of the day, that vision is mine and mine alone to love and nurture...even though I've had a lot of good helpers along the way that helped make pieces of it a reality.

I don't know exactly what Three Pink Elephants will look like a year from now.

I have ideas.

I have hopes...but in my head I hear the words of my friend from Texas saying, “Hope is not a strategy.” Haha (thanks Lisa).

What I do know is that if everything goes to s**t and I have to go back to the world I came from (let's clarify, the *career*...not a different world...my leaders told me not to tell you I was from a different world 👽)...I was still lucky enough to dream a little dream — and watch pieces of it become real.

I'm still dreaming (always dreaming), but I need to make some practical decisions.

I've analyzed the last year of data — the days and times during the week people came through the Pink Door, etc. — and I'm adjusting my hours accordingly.

I'm also increasing my hours at my part-time job because, well...bills need to be paid.

So dumb. Stupid bills.

The cool thing is, my boss understands that this is my dream and I have flexibility...so I can still help you with those special moments...so just reach out.

✨AND✨ adjusting my hours is actually going to give me more time to expand what Three Pink Elephants offers — weddings, events and gatherings...and I might have a few other things up my sleeve. 😉

The dream isn't getting smaller.

It's just evolving. ❤️

Beginning **September 1st:**

Wednesday: 2–7
Thursday: 2–6
Friday: 11–5
Saturday: 11–3
Sunday–Tuesday: Closed
..and look, I've extended some evenings so maybe you can come have a glass of wine with me...😉

We've got a bit of a situation on the Legion roof...and I'm asking pretty please for your help to remedy the... um..."situation."

One minute I'm minding my own business (as I do), just helping with "roofing things" at the Legion, and next thing I know there's a crime scene outline, three "missing" buckets of roof goo stuff, and Mark standing there with a suspicious amount of the goo on his face and clothing. 🤔

Let's be real. That entire paragraph was completely irrelevant. Even I can see that. 🤷

Honestly, we just don't have enough goo.

We need three more buckets at $75 each to finish the roof.

We'd love you forever...or at least as long as the sealant lasts. 😉

Please reach out to me, Tina, or Major. 💗

Instead of my usual kick ass burnouts, I'm hitting the brakes.

But before we officially put the 2026 Revival to bed, I need to thank the people and businesses who jumped in and helped make this happen.
