This painting began with a simple moment: I saw a gathering of sunflower s in post. And they looked to me like a beautiful party of flowers, so joyful, bright, and full of life.

I wanted to capture that happiness and the special energy that sunflowers seem to transmit to us.

I let the creamy oil pastel textures, visible scribbles,layered colors and expressive marks speak for themselves
