Kevin Anderson has been roasting nano-batch coffee for more than 12 years and is finally following his friends’ advice to roast enough to regularly share. A musician by profession, Kevin found that 2020 provided him the time and opportunity to build out and share his love for coffee (shoutout to all those in the entertainment business missing work and audience). certified commercial business operation. Please know that when possible, Kevin is choosing for you not only flavorful single-origin beans but those that uphold sustainable practices that empower and fairly compensate farmers and their communities. Especially look for opportunities to try roasts from women-owned cooperatives. Information on the farms, cooperatives and suppliers, as well as their farming and employment practices, is included in the coffee description when available. Most certifications will not appear on the bags since, as a very small business, applications for licenses to use these logos are currently out of reach. The company name comes from Kevin’s 1972 Volkswagen camper bus. Purchased in 1987 and rehabbed in 1992, the bus has traveled the United States at slightly under the posted speed limit and visited many of this nation’s amazing National Parks. Thanks to the bus, Kevin and his wife have met many great people between here and Montana, including many mechanics and one supremely nice, fully-tattooed driver of a paneled station wagon with plenty of room for us and our dog. The bus is currently receiving a makeover, including a fresh coat of blue paint. ORDERING AND DELIVERY

As a small-batch roaster, we can accommodate your tastes. When requesting ground, please offer your preferred method of coffee making so we can custom-grind your order. We’re happy to offer you a custom blend or half caff option. Let us know what you’d like! Single-serve coffee pods are recommended in the choices as noted in the bean description, though they can be ordered for any variety of coffee. Coffee pods work in machines not requiring a QR code for activation. Pods are recyclable where facilities exist. Our coffee is packaged in 100% recycled kraft paper bags with vegetable PLA linings and are compostable. Please remove the tin tie before composting. Free delivery available in the Dayton area on our existing route. Please inquire. Rush deliveries and deliveries for those outside our service area is available at an extra change. Shipping throughout the United States is available. Subscriptions are coming! Tell us what you’d like. Choose six scheduled deliveries and receive $1 off per pound.
