Found these awesome song lyrics in a book someone brought in today. Some days you hit all the red lights. Some days you end up tearing your hip flexor playing pickleball with an already bad back. O the ravages of time! O the depredations of yearslong bookselling! Today's my birthday (48). I used to be muscled and smooth and winsome (as evidenced in the first picture). Now I'm weird and achey and would rather be alone in a bath (as evidenced in the second picture, taken this morning).
