Captain Spicer's Gift Shop and Art Gallery

Captain Spicer's Gift Shop and Art Gallery Sharing our passion for the St. Lawrence River & Great Lakes since 1983! Based in the 1000 Islands. The store is currently in its 34th year of business.

Captain Spicer's Gallery and Gifts opened it's doors for business on August 17, 1983. Captain Spicers began as a nautical gift shop devoted to the culture and history of the 1000 Islands. That same tradition continues today, but the store has been enlarged to accommodate the growing gift and art selections. We began our stoneware tradition with one single mug. The stoneware collections have grown to over 1000 custom pieces, that are still available within the store and now online. Our signature stoneware collections have been cherished for over two decades. Captain Spicer's custom hand painted stoneware is created by Louisville Stoneware Co. in Louisville, Kentucky. They have been producing quality stoneware since 1815. Our store is as rich with the history of the 1000 Islands as it is with its wares. The main reason that Captain Spicers stands out from the rest of the gift shops is the quality. Our store has always made sure that quality of our items is the most important aspect, next to our customer satisfaction. All of our custom made items in the store are made in the USA, with a fair price to match the quality of the item. With the customer in mind, we set out to create gifts, that would not only be fine crafted, but practical as well. A lovely Shop for all who LOVE the River as much as we do!!!

Lots of great items are still up for grabs!

Yes, are closing the current store most likely by mid-July as we look to downsize. Don’t miss the opportunity to grab your favorite items at rock bottom pricing.

We are accepting offers on many items and displays in the store!

On the bright side this is not the end of Captain Spicer’s products! We will be announcing a collaboration with another local store that we plan to begin selling our best-selling Laker Belts, Key Chains, and other items.

More on that coming soon!
