There are moments in a brand’s life that feel less like change… and more like evolution.
At Abode by Parklyn Interiors, everything has always started with intention — a belief that a home should be layered, personal, and deeply reflective of the people who live within it. Our approach has never been about volume, but about discovery. About sourcing pieces that are not only beautiful, but rare — objects with soul, history, and a story to tell.
No two pieces alike. No two spaces are the same.
Over the past two years, we have quietly built this philosophy in DeMun — curating a collection defined by individuality and timelessness, and shaped by clients who value spaces that feel collected rather than decorated.
Now, we are stepping into what’s next.
We are honored to share that Abode will be relocating to 126 East Lockwood Avenue, within the historic Edward Methudy Building (est. 1923). A space with its own sense of permanence and character — and one that mirrors exactly what we seek to create.
This next chapter allows us to expand not just in size, but in vision — to deepen our sourcing, broaden our collection of special brands, and continue finding pieces that cannot be replicated, only discovered. It gives us the ability to further invest in the community, in craftsmanship, and in the idea that great design is never rushed — it is assembled, over time, with intention.
Growth of this kind asks for belief — and for risk. It requires patience, investment, and a willingness to build something enduring. But it is, without question, the right next step for us.
To our DeMun neighbors — thank you for being part of our foundation. It has been a privilege to grow within such a special pocket of St. Louis, and we will miss it dearly.
To those who have followed along — we hope you’ll continue with us, and experience what’s ahead. With love, Danielle 🤍
