While Georgia tries to decide how many times we must endure "False Fall" this year, we're bringing in a bunch of new styles so that we're ready when that wonderful day arrives. We've got new designs on your favorite tees, cozy hoodies, comfy sweaters, and so much more. Some have already hit the shelves and the online shop, with more coming over the next few weeks. It's a good time to be in the mountains.

It's not often that you find a spot that serves up THE best version of something, let alone multiple items on the menu. But we can wholeheartedly say that Blue Hound Barbecue has the best brisket we've ever tried, along with the single best potato salad we've ever tasted. Oh, also, the best BBQ Egg Rolls we've ever had, even if they're the only ones we've ever had.

If you didn't know, Blue Hound's chef and owner, Kyle, was crowned the Food Network BBQ Brawl Champion in a past season and brought a little slice of Appalachia to the big screen. We're incredibly proud of everything he's done with this place, and you couldn't ask for a better person to represent Rabun County.
If you haven't been over there to try them out yet, maybe this will convince you of the level of cooking he's been doing up there in Dillard. Go in soon and give them a shot; we truly feel that they live up to the hype!

This Friday's Night Market at OLDKNOW Bev Co is a little extra special. In addition to the stellar drinks, food, and local vendors, Chattooga Conservancy will be in attendance. This is a great opportunity to learn some information about the current "Roadless Rule" and how the proposed changes may affect our national forests. The conservancy will be providing postcards, stamps, and mailing services. Just show up, make your voice heard, and then hang out and enjoy the night. If you've never attended, the Old Know Night Market is one of our favorite regular happenings here in town. The best craft drinks around, great food, and pop up shops from some awesome local vendors. It's a great time and we hope y'all come out to support everyone involved.
