Just a reminder! July 1st, background check fees almost double!

Just a reminder that on July 1, Washington State Patrols increases their background check fee by nearly double. The state continues to increase the cost of exercising your constitutional rights. CPL fees are going up to be expensive. Permit to purchase is going. Live fire training required June 1 2027 (for CPL and Permit to Purchase).

The State of Washington hates your rights, but loves your money.

Pricing people out of their rights, as unconstitutional as it gets.

Starting July 1, WA State will be demanding an additional $15 for every background check on your fi****ms purchase. Currently the fee is $18, July 1 it becomes $33.

With the new year around the corner, new laws regarding fi***rm purchases are going into effect. This includes THREE major components.
1) Pre-purchasing licensing/training. This can be completed ONLINE and best of all FOR FREE thanks to our friends at Sporting Systems. Follow this link to complete the training. Following completion, please provide us with a copy of the certificate for ALL future fi***rm purchases.

2) State run background checks. This includes a $18 fee that we collect and forward on to the state. There is no way around this.
3) Minimum 10 day waiting period before transfer. Again, this applies to ALL fi***rm transfers. No its, ands, or buts. It's mandatory.

Also of note, pay attention to the legislative cycles this year. There is ALREADY a few bills that have been submitted for consideration that will further infringe on our second amendment rights. Washington Gun Law is a good resource to stay abreast of pending legislation as well as to keep updated on all current lawsuits.

Last of all, Fi****ms Policy Coalition, Second Amendment Foundation, and Silent Majority Foundation are all fighting for our rights here in this state. We recommend you look into them and support them financially if you are able.
