You would think raising THREE BOYS would have prepared me for this moment. Apparently not. 😂

I was just trying to make a nice little video about our peanut clusters. You know, talk about how they’re made, how delicious everyone says they are, and how I’m allergic to peanuts so I can’t even eat them.

Very professional. Very informative.

Then I asked Sage about the nuts.

And she hit me with “DEEZ NUTS.”

I walked DIRECTLY into it.

Three boys. I raised three boys. I have heard every inappropriate joke known to mankind, and somehow I still served that one up to Sage on a silver platter.

So anyway… we have peanut clusters. 😂

They’re made with real chocolate, loaded with peanuts, apparently delicious, and I will be asking ZERO follow-up questions about the nuts.

Aimee says this is her favorite candy. But let’s be real… Aimee has A LOT of favorite candies. 😂 this video was really meant to be put out tomorrow, but let’s just say I wanted these out in time for Thursdays on Main!!

Our S’mores Chocolates are absolutely near the top of the list.

Gooey marshmallows + Golden Grahams + our homemade caramel, all covered in real Lillie Mae chocolate.

I was walking by and caught Isabel making the cream center for our Cookies & Cream popcorn… and honestly, there was no way I was NOT stopping to film it or grab a taste! 🍿

Fresh Oreos, creamy white chocolate, and popcorn all coming together into one dangerously snackable batch. Of course I had to grab a couple pieces for a “quality control” taste test. 😅

This is one of those flavors that smells as good as it tastes when you walk through the doors at Lillie Mae!

When it’s this hot, nothing hits the spot like an ice-cold shake. Made with one of our 16 flavors of hand-scooped ice cream.

Apparently, nobody is gonna to take our candy stores seriously if we keep making silly videos…

Too late. 😂

And honestly, I (Aimee) wouldn’t want to do any of this without these two.

Nicki and Molly are not only the women keeping our Marshalltown and Clear Lake stores rolling, they are two of my favorite humans.

And clearly, great things started in ’92 - the graduating class for Nicki, Molly and I!! 🤪

Nicki and I are Marshalltown High School Class of ’92 classmates, and Molly was my college university of Northern Iowa roommate. Somehow, all these years later, they both ended up working with me, putting up with me AND most importantly, putting up with Tom!!!

Which deserves some sort of award.

Having two bosses…or maybe more accurately, two chiefs…is not always easy. 😂 But these two take it in stride, keep things moving, take incredible care of our people and our customers, and even “love” all of my ridiculous shenanigans.

And by “love,” I mean they will pop up from behind a candy counter with a spoon when I ask them to. 😂

I’m incredibly lucky to have both of them. They’re hardworking, funny, loyal, kind, and just really, really good humans.

Class of ’92, baby. We’re still causing trouble and having a great time!!💕

Michelle W. left us this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review, and we’re not actually sure whether she visited Marshalltown or Clear Lake.

And you know what? We kind of love that.

SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE… SHAKE YOUR B***Y. 🍫

Everybody has their own method for dipping the TorTush.

Some dip.
Some swirl.
Some give it a little tap.

And then there’s Sage… who apparently believes a proper TorTush requires a little shake, shake, shake. 😂

We hand dip every single TorTush, which means every crunchy, gooey caramel and nut center gets dipped in milk or dark with its t**h dipped in white chocolate.

And yes… we probably have WAY too much fun doing it.

But when your job involves chocolate and dipping t**hes all day, how could you not?

Spreading joy since 1939… one TorTush t**h at a time. 🍫
