I don't know what got into me this morning, but I went on a major cleaning spree - I cleaned both bathrooms, changed Fuzz's litter box, cleaned Dixie's slobber off of the front windows, vacuumed, wet mopped the floors, dusted, and threw in some laundry all before 10:00 a.m. 😃🧽🚽🧹🪟🛁😺

Now I think it's time for a nap! 😴😬

A few years ago,I found this wooden cat cut-out at the flea market for $1....I can never pass up a good bargain, especially when it's only a dollar! 🐈‍⬛️😬

I can't remember what color it was originally, but I knew right away it needed to be painted black and that it would make the perfect Halloween decoration! 🖤🐈‍⬛🎃👻🧙‍♀️🍂💀

We have my son's football game tonight, and then the rest of the weekend is wide open! 🏈

The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so I'm hoping to get outside and finish cleaning up my garden and patio and putting everything away for the winter. It will feel so good to finally get everything taken care of before the snow flies! 😊🍁

What are your plans for the weekend? Anything fun or just enjoying some time to relax? ☕️

I can't believe Halloween is next week already! 😱🎃👻🧙‍♀️💀

I haven't even had a chance to think about going out or dressing up this year...

Halloween has always been one of my favorite nights of the year. Back when the boys were little, our family would always dress up in a group costume, head to the annual Halloween parade and costume contest in Johnsonburg, and then take the kids trick-or-treating. 🍬🍫

After trick-or-treating, we'd drop the kids off at their grandparents' house for a sleepover, freshen up, and head out to a Halloween dance at one of the local bars.

Those nights were always so much fun, and looking back, I really miss those days! It's been a few years since we've had a chance to go out, but I'm not ruling this year out just yet!

Anyone else feeling a little nostalgic for those Halloweens of the past? 🎃

This isn't the best picture, but I'm just too excited not to share! 🦅

Last Thursday on my way to work, I spotted an EAGLE perched in a tree!!! I was so shocked that I almost wrecked, LOL!

The next morning, I took the same route, hoping I'd get another glimpse of it, and sure enough... there it was, perched in the exact same spot! 🤯

I haven't seen it since, but what an incredible sight to see on my morning commute! I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled every morning, hoping for another sighting! 👀🦅

Our 3rd and final stop on Saturday's adventure was the Cuba Cheese Shoppe ....

No trip to Cuba, NY, would be complete without a stop at the Cuba Cheese Shoppe! 🧀💛

After leaving the Witch's Market, we made sure to stop at this local favorite! From delicious cheeses to specialty goods, it’s the perfect place to pick up a few treats and bring home a little taste of the area. 😋

Of course, no road trip is complete without a few fun stops along the way, and we're glad this one made the list! 🚗🍂

Wow, what a gorgeous fall weekend! 🍂🍁

The mornings started off chilly, with a beautiful blanket of hard frost covering everything. But once the sun came out, the temperatures warmed up, making for absolutely perfect fall weather! ☀️🍁

And the best part? This beautiful weather is supposed to stick around through next weekend! I’ll take it! 🧡🧡🧡

Yesterday, on our way to the Witch’s Market, we decided to make a pit stop for a bite to eat at Sprague’s Maple Farm in Portville, NY!

Although Sprague’s is a little over an hour from home, it’s a popular dining destination for people in our area.

In addition to their delicious maple syrup, Sprague’s is known for its huge, rustic dining room, all-day breakfast, and their adorable gift shop.

During maple season in the spring, they also offer wagon rides to their sugar house, with limited rides available in the fall, too! 🚜🍂

It was the perfect little stop to fuel up before continuing our witchy adventure! 🧙‍♀️✨
