This isn't the best lighting, but I couldn't wait any longer to post pictures, lol. 😊
I spent the past 2 days painting our garage doors and all of our exterior doors (with the exception of the front door)...
When we first built our house almost 20 years ago, we wanted our garage doors to be a darker contrasting color, but we were afraid that a darker brown would fade in all of the direct sunlight that our house gets.
We opted for a light tan that matched our siding and all was well - for a while anyway. Over time, the tan started to change color and looked pink in some spots. 😖
At that point, it was 2020, what else did I have to do? It seemed like the perfect time for a garage re-fresh. I knew I wanted to paint the doors a darker contrasting brown, but the color I ultimately chose just never felt right - it was too "chocolaty" - which doesn't sound like a bad thing, lol, but I didn't want my garage doors to look like giant Hershey bars. 😜
Anyway, I started thinking about re-painting them last summer, but I just haven't had time...until NOW. 😃
I decided on Sherwin Willliams Urbane Bronze - the ✨️PERFECT✨️ neutral in my opinion. Is it brown, is it gray? No one knows, but it always seems to morph into the perfect color for your space. 😍🥰

P.S. When I first painted the doors, I also added magnetic hardware which, in my opinion, made a HUGE difference! 💗💗💗
