Happy Saturday good people! Closing up shop for the day but wanted to share some spectacular guitars that have come in in the last few days.

Not every day you see a 1957 Martin, but we have this fantastic and beautifully playing 00-18G hanging on the wall. This incredible guitar is going to make somebody very, very happy.

If shred is more of your thing, we have two super shred machines for your consideration. An Ibanez S-series that is simply elite. Gray burst quilted maple, super fast wizard neck. Stunning guitar for the money.

Or how about this Jackson X Series Warrior? Like the Ibanez, super fast neck, fresh setup, low action. Ready to melt faces!

Working in a music store for a guitar nerd is like Christmas everyday. Just finished up working on this beautiful 1966 Fender Mustang. Lots of these old instruments have an amazing backstory, and this one was no exception. It was passed down to a young man by his grandfather. He brought it in with his dad. It was in the original case and had one string on it; a very thick flat wound low E that was probably decades old. Good thing those old strings were robust because that single string probably kept the neck from bowing. Like a lot of old electric guitars, the neck was remarkably straight. That cigar vibrato was interesting to work on. She's cleaned, polished, restrung and ready to be loved on!

If you haven't been down to the store, come on by! We have new guitars and amps in here literally everyday. Also lots of ukuleles, and some mandolins too.

Weekend update! Some cool stuff coming up. We will host our first open mic on monday, August 17th at 6 PM. Watch this page or our website for pending details.

We have a couple of killer Strats that have landed within the last few days. Check these babies out! The black beauty is a 1999 MIM standard in beautiful shape, with hard shell case. She's a player! Then we have a 1995 red MIM standard, upgraded with Seymour Duncan lipsticks and perloid pickguard. Killer setup and a real attention getter. Both of these exceptional axes are waiting for adoption and deserve to be loved and played on!

Today at the ole' shoppe. Took in this beautiful 1991 Les Paul today on consignment. Stunning neck. This thing rips!

Also working on this custom build from a donor late 70's/early 80's Carvin DC150 neck-through. 5 fresh coats of black acrylic lacquer, 4 coats of clear, custom pickguard and a set of Probuckers on deck for this baddie. 5 more days for the paint to cure before I hit it with light grit, polish and assembly. Can't wait to shred it!

Our pal Jamie from Wesfest shared this today. This is a guitar we donated that was gifted to this happy youngster at the festival on Saturday. That smile says it all! This is what it's all about; spreading the love and the sense of community through music. Thanks to Jamie and team for all of the incredible work they do year-round to not only put on this epic event, but also put instruments in the hands of young people through their organization. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear guitars 😁.
