One of six hand-carved shelves completed for this project.

This isn’t AI or CNC-generated. Every contour was carved by hand from a single solid piece of wood, then carefully sanded and finished to highlight its natural grain.

What I enjoy most about working with wood is that every piece carries a story. Long before it reaches my shop, it has already lived a life. My job is simply to discover what it wants to become next and give it a new purpose.

Projects like this remind me why I love woodworking. Every piece has its own character, and bringing that vision to life by hand is incredibly rewarding.

Finished this one today.

A custom window seat built from reclaimed wine crate panels, each one carrying its own history from vineyards around the world.

Projects like this remind me that woodworking isn’t always about starting with new material. Sometimes it’s about seeing potential where others don’t. Every panel was selected, fitted, and finished to create something unique that simply can’t be bought off a shelf.

Some seasons test more than our skills. They test our character.

This custom built-in was completed during one of those seasons.

There are days when motivation comes easily, and there are days when discipline has to take its place. I’ve learned that the work doesn’t stop simply because life becomes difficult. You keep showing up. You keep measuring twice. You keep building. One decision at a time.

That’s what craftsmanship has always meant to me. It isn’t just about working with wood. It’s about patience, consistency, and choosing to do your best, even when no one knows what you’re carrying.

I’m grateful to have collaborated with Artisan Restoration on this project. Their attention to detail and beautiful paint finish completed the piece exactly as it was envisioned. Working alongside people who take genuine pride in their craft always elevates the final result.

Every project leaves something behind.

Custom architectural slat wall for the lobby of a golf course community.

I enjoy projects like this because every space is different, and each one brings its own challenges. Seeing an idea come to life and become part of a space is one of the best parts of what I do.
