Overview:
Tampa Microwave is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Manpack & Fly Away satellite terminals designed and built for the expeditionary user community to guarantee communications connectivity in the most austere environments. Tampa Microwave primarily serves Federal and Department of Defense markets.
The primary function of the MRB Coordinator is the controlling of nonconforming materials in all product and processes utilized in the receipt, manufacture, inspection, testing, and release of finished product.
The MRB Coordinator is an hourly, non-exempt, 1st shift position.
This position has no supervisory requirements and reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities:
-Overall coordination, tracking/status of all Material Review Board MRB material.
Daily interfacing with various departments to provide status of open MRB items and to seek closure on those items.
-Work closely with Planning, Engineering (MFG/ QE/ TE/ ME/ SYS), Purchasing, Suppliers, and Assembly to identify priorities and resolve open issues.
-Assure that all Quality Notifications are dispositioned in a timely manner.
-Process dispositioned material – Return parts to suppliers (RTV), scrap parts, verify tasks completed and approved per released instructions.
-Recommend improvements for the overall flow of material through the MRB process.
-Properly completes manufacturing documentation. Initiates material transfers, reports quality issues (NCPRs), records transactions in ERP, as needed, to preserve traceability and inventory accuracy.
-Maintains the accuracy of identification and count of materials. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and conducting cycle counts for MRB.
-Able to verify assembly documentation accuracy, read engineering drawings etc.
-Assist in the disposition of non-conforming products and the creation of Non-Conforming Product Reports (NCPR).
-Assist (when necessary) with the Corrective and Preventive Action process, for both internal and customer related issues.
-Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing improvements to the quality system.
-Assist with and/ or administer relative training to Tampa Microwave employees and related aspects of On-the-Job (OJT) and procedural training.
-Performs any other projects or duties that may be assigned.
-Comply with established safety and housekeeping practices
-Follow TM business ethics and appropriate behavior.
Qualifications:

-Three years in a manufacturing environment; previous work experience in Quality, Planning or as a Coordinator is preferred.
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Requires understanding of ERP Information Systems.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
-U.S. Citizen or permanent residency required.
-Fluent in the English language- written and oral
-Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
-Must be able to lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
