Maybe it's the cooler mornings. The beautiful sock yarn catching your eye. Or the thought of a small project tucked into your bag, ready whenever you have a few stitches to give it.

You may already know which pair you want to cast on.

Either one sounds like a wonderful place to begin.

The shawl is finished. Now we're getting ready to begin again—together.

The Hygge Cast-On Party is getting close, which means there are really only two questions left:

Have you signed up?
Do you have your yarn?

We've been playing with Malabrigo Caprino combinations throughout the shop—some harmonious, some with more contrast, and plenty of possibilities still waiting to be discovered.

A fall cardigan begins long before it's ready to wear.

It begins with beautiful yarn. A pattern you keep thinking about. The texture, shape and details that make you imagine reaching for it again and again.

I'm beginning mine with Berroco Biella—a beautiful blend of Extra Fine Merino Wool, Silk and Kid Mohair with softness, graceful drape and the stitch definition to let every detail shine.

Right now, it's yarn, a pattern and the first stitches taking shape.

Eventually, it becomes something made specifically for me.

That's the magic of beginning a garment. You already know where you hope the stitches will take you.

All those individual stitches, the colors you chose, the hours spent making—and suddenly, you're holding the thing you once only imagined.

On this Labor Day, we're celebrating a different kind of work: the beautiful satisfaction of making something with our own hands.

Our Hygge Shawl is finished, and soon we'll begin again—this time together.

Same pattern. Countless possibilities.

Because each of us will choose our own colors, make our own stitches, and watch a completely individual Hygge take shape.

The Berroco Brina Trunk Show gives you five beautiful pieces to explore—and just a few more days to see them together at Fearless Fibers.
