Now that the rain has stopped here - 10+ inches in the last week (so many areas needed it more than us)… I can start unloading the Allis-Chalmers collection I picked up on Sunday. Yesterday I went out to get a small collection of FFA tractors, so there are a lot of tractors to be added to our website and store… focusing on AC today.

HOW FAR ARE YOU TRAVELING TO THE IOWA DIECAST TOY SHOW? 🚗

One of the fun parts of the Iowa Diecast Toy Show is seeing just how far collectors will travel to spend a weekend surrounded by toys and fellow collectors!

This year, we’ll have a large map of the United States on display at the show, and we want everyone to mark where they traveled from! By the end of the weekend, we’re hoping to see that map covered with locations from all over.

🏆 AND THERE’S A PRIZE INVOLVED!
At NOON EACH DAY, we’ll award a prize to the person currently at the show who traveled the farthest to get there!

Last year we welcomed collectors from all across the Midwest, along with visitors from Michigan, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Dakota and beyond. How far will our 15th Anniversary Show reach?

🎉 4 MONTHS UNTIL THE BIG DAY! 🎉

We’re counting down to the 15th Anniversary Iowa Diecast Toy Show, happening January 2nd & 3rd, 2027, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Des Moines!

We are incredibly excited about moving into the 4-H Building this year. With 41,000 square feet of space, we’ll be able to expand the show and add even more for collectors and families to see and do!

And yes... the preparations have already started! 📦🚜 Iowa Diecast Toys has begun boxing up toys to bring to the show, and we’re only getting started.

Throughout the fall, we’ll be giving you sneak peeks at some of the toys we AND our other dealers will be bringing to Des Moines. You never know what might show up!

You don't have to be a toy dealer to set up at the 15th Anniversary Iowa Diecast Toy Show!

Maybe you've been collecting for years and decided it's time to downsize. Maybe you're helping a parent or family member sell their collection. Perhaps you've inherited a collection or are helping settle an estate and aren't sure how to reach people who actually appreciate and collect these toys.

Bring the collection to where the collectors are!

The Iowa Diecast Toy Show gives you the opportunity to put your collection in front of thousands of collectors and toy enthusiasts from across the Midwest over the course of the weekend.

Whether you have farm toys, construction toys, trucks, semis, cars, racing collectibles, memorabilia or a mixture of items, we'd love to talk with you about setting up at the show.

And we've worked to make setup as convenient as possible. The renovated 41,000-square-foot 4-H Building is bright, spacious and well-lit, with four load-in/load-out doors located on three sides of the building to help make moving your collection in and out easier.

You don't need a fancy dealer setup. Bring your collection, price your toys, and spend the weekend meeting collectors who share an interest in what you have to sell.

Our show has been bringing collectors and sellers together for 15 years, and attendance continues to grow. For our anniversary show, we're expanding our advertising and adding even more activities to give collectors more reasons to make the trip to Des Moines.

Let your collection find a new home with another collector who will enjoy it!

MORE TOYS ARE HEADED TO THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY IOWA DIECAST TOY SHOW!

Here’s a little preview of some of the older, out-of-package 1/64 scale farm toys I’ll be bringing along to the Iowa Diecast Toy Show in January!

If you enjoy digging through older farm toys and finding pieces you don’t see every day, you’ll definitely want to spend some time looking through what I’m bringing. I’ve been setting aside toys specifically for the show, and these are already packed away and will NOT be available for presale. I also will not be giving out prices ahead of the show. You’ll have to come see them in person!

And this is just a start. I have additional pieces already set aside that I’ll be sharing photos of between now and show weekend, so keep watching our page for more sneak peeks of farm toys in all scales, semis, construction, cars, and more!
