Hi Everyone! I am posting the following for the South Lake Animal League in Clermont. If you can help them please do. Thanks! :)

We are very low on extra space these days at the Adoption Center and although we could reorganize the Big Shed to make more room, it is much too hot to go about doing that anytime soon. If anybody has an extra storage shed they could Donate, the Adoption Center staff would greatly appreciate it. Any size will do. If it is waterproof that is great, if not, that is great too, we have plenty of items that can get wet.

This weekend in Clermont starting tonight "Pig on the Pond" will begin. Lots of food, fun, games,music and yes even pig races! Stop by the East Ridge H.S. band's booth and try their funnel cakes and support the band at the same time. Entrance fee is $3. Hours are Fri. 5-10pm Sat 9-10pm. Saturday morning there is also a 5k run starting at 8am. Have a great weekend! :)

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! One of the jobs that I had before I started Gofer-U, (many years before lol) I was a Flight Attendant. Loved it. Then I became a preschool teacher but that is a story for another day! I saw the following post on a friend of mines wall and loved it. Not just because of my past history as a flight attendant but for the msg. I thought I would share it with you. Great way to start the New Year!

Good morning, and Welcome to Flight # 2013. We are prepared to take off into the New Year. Please make sure your Attitude and Blessings are secured and locked in an upright position. All self destructive devices should be turned off at this time. All negativity, hurt and discouragement should be put away. Should we lose Altitude under pressure during the flight, reach up and pull down a Prayer. Prayers will automatically be activated by Faith. Once your Faith is activated you can assist other passengers. There will be NO BAGGAGE allowed on this flight. The Captain has cleared us for takeoff. Destination GREATNESS.
