It is with great sadness that we have learned of the sudden passing of Philippe Rigoutat. With his passing, the oboe world loses not only an outstanding and highly esteemed instrument maker, but also a wonderful and endearing person with whom we shared a bond of genuine affection and mutual respect.
We will cherish his memory and fondly recall the many wonderful encounters we had the privilege of sharing with him around the world.
