When Joanne's went out of business a lot of people grieved, but we gained a blessing because Jean (our manager) came to work with us. Did you know that counted cross stitch is making a comeback? It's great for doing on the go, or relaxing at home. We have a full selection of cross stitch patterns and fabrics and it's getting bigger by the day. Show us a picture of a piece that you have done. A throwback for Thursday. You know you've got an authentic fabric artist, when even her labels are true artistry. We hung Betsy Bauman's quilts today, for her show on Friday evening, and my husband said: "This isn't a quilt shop any more, it's a gallery" and he's right. Thank you Betsy for sharing your art with us and I can't wait to hear the stories of these quilts and your insights on why people make art.
