Learned this the hard way: be careful mixing business with family and friends. Emotions get involved, boundaries get blurry, and expectations don’t match contracts.

Strangers will often treat you more fairly than people who “love” you, because business with a stranger stays business. No history, no guilt trips, no “but we’re family” excuses when it’s time to deliver.

Protect your peace. Protect your money. Choose your partners with your head, not your heart.
