✝️Remember the Promise ✝️
Sometimes, in the middle of our ordinary days, God gives us a moment that causes us to simply stop and remember.
A rainbow is more than something beautiful in the sky. In Scripture, it is a reminder of God's covenant. It's a reminder that He remembers, He is faithful, and His promises endure.
Every one of us has mountains to climb, valleys to walk through, and deep waters to cross. We may not always understand why we are facing the circumstances before us, and there may be times when we wonder how we will find the strength to keep going.
But we don't have to rely on our own strength.
We can lean on the One who is strong enough to carry us.
Remember that God is with us.
Remember that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Remember that His grace is sufficient.
Remember that we do not walk through the valley alone.
Remember that our present circumstances are not the end of the story.
And remember the promise:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19
God is still working, even when we cannot see it. He is making a way where there seems to be no way and bringing new life out of places that seem barren.
And we can hold onto another promise:
“Behold, I am making all things new.” — Revelation 21:5
Whatever mountain you're facing today, whatever valley you're walking through, whatever deep waters you're in...don't lose heart.
You may not have much strength left of your own.
That's okay.
Lean on His.
🌈 Remember the promise. God is faithful.
