I’m so incredibly thankful to everyone who came out to Rooted Night Market last night! 🌿✨

As many of you have now heard, September’s event was our final market of the 2026 season following some expected changes to our facility usage plan by CSCC representatives. Those changes have also led us to make the decision to move Take Root Studio out of the business incubator.

While this chapter is coming to a close, Take Root isn’t going anywhere. 💚

If you have questions about the transition, please feel free to reach out and connect with me. I’m still very much out here and active in our community, so don’t worry! 🥰

Here’s a little look at what’s coming next:

✨ Canaan has secured a new space to continue offering her dreadlock services.

🧘‍♀️ Virtual Yoga & Meditation will continue through the Take Root Studio website, so our online community can keep growing with us.

🌿 The Apothecary is coming home! I’m creating a special new studio space right in the heart of my home, and I’m calling it Moon & Briar. I’m so excited to see what this little space becomes. 🌙🌿

📚 Herbal education & craft classes are coming FREE to the local library, where I’ll continue sharing these practices with our community.

🛍️ And perhaps most importantly… ROOTED MARKETS WILL RETURN IN 2027! 🎉

We’ll be looking for a new home for our markets, and I’m completely open to suggestions, ideas, and guidance. Know a space that you think would be perfect for Rooted Market? Send it my way! ☺️

Change can be bittersweet, but I truly believe this is the beginning of something really beautiful. Thank you for growing with us, supporting us, showing up for us, and making Rooted Night Market what it has been.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply time to take root somewhere new. 🌿

One of the things we love most about Rooted Night Market is that community means more than simply gathering together. It means looking out for one another and making sure resources can circulate where they're needed.

For our September 5 market, we're bringing back our Community Share Table alongside a community food drive.

Give if you can. Take if you need.

Bring unopened, non-perishable food items to share, or stop by the table and take what you can use. No judgment. No questions asked. Everyone is welcome.

Suggested donations include:

Canned vegetables, fruit, and beans
Pasta, rice, and pasta sauce
Peanut butter
Cereal and oatmeal
Shelf-stable milk
Individually packaged snacks

You don't have to bring something to participate, and you don't have to take something to contribute.

It's simply a table built on the idea that we all have something to share, and we all need help sometimes.

The Rooted Book Swap is returning to the September Night Market after being such a wonderful success last month.

Bring along books you've finished and are ready to give a new home, then browse the swap and see what catches your eye. It's a simple way to share stories, discover something new, and keep good books circulating through our community.

Whether you're looking for your next great read or finally ready to part with a few books from your shelves, bring them along!

The Impertinent Woman - Small-batch dry tea blends, oil rollers, bath salts, and more.

TRD Photography - Gothic and Southern Gothic photography prints.

The Sipsation Shack - Homemade lemonade and sweet treats.

The Motley Palette - Gourd and canvas art, with 50% off all canvas art and $10 off any gourd art piece normally priced above $20.

Sally’s Sips N Spuds - Dirty sodas, chips, and giant loaded spuds.
