Hey June Hey!
As we prepare for a beautiful summer, exciting changes are ahead. May challenged and prepared us for what's to come. Thank you to everyone who joined Bubbles by the Pound—we had a great time and enjoyed delicious pound cake! Bakers and bubble providers, you are appreciated. Thanks also to everyone who visited the shop for our Saturday Sale featuring pantry ingredients and cookbooks. We loved seeing new faces and knowing you're enjoying time in the kitchen with others. Now let's dig into June, because We Outside!
Growth doesn't stand still
Reduced Hours & Happenings
As you can see, we have quite a busy calendar for June! And yes, while keeping a brick-and-mortar space, I have learned that sometimes you have to go beyond the walls of your space to let people know you are here for all their spice and cooking needs! Go where the people are. Follow your heart. So, if you all are outside enjoying the summer, then so are we! It's how we got started and a big part of our journey.
Larchmere Porchfest is rolling in a little early this year, and we are excited to have some friends roll through with some sweet treats, so stay tuned!
Steeped in Adun: A Juneteenth Tea Blending Workshop is happening June 20th, and will be a joyful celebration of culture, community, and tea. Curated by KaShala of Steeped Pearl Tea. Register Here! Adun x NUFM is our last pop-up of the month, and we are still a bit bummed that we did not make it for May due to the weather, but we look forward to better weather days ahead!
***Our reduced hours will allow us to continue building for Adun Spice Company on days with historically low traffic. Please know that our shop is open even if we have an off-site event. So don't hesitate to stop in to gather what you may need.
Santander's Cultivate Small Business Program
Next week marks the end of a small-business cohort that I have had the privilege of participating in. Santander and Babson College host a twelve-week intensive for small food businesses of all kinds, and let me tell you, I am so thankful for the community of business owners I found here alongside the experts and advisors that champion us to be our best. It is sometimes hard to juggle education and running a business day-to-day, but I am thankful for the challenge to be better, because it allows me to be greater for my team and you, our customers. If you know a food business owner looking for more ways to grow themselves, and their business, have them check out this program here! (https://www.santanderus.com/cultivate-small-business/)
Also, be on the lookout later this month for the project being implemented based on the plan that was built while participating in this program! Im excited!
Grateful Summer
Now that we've gotten all of that out, we look forward to sharing more around food and spices as the summer continues to fill out. Please be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates on our listed events and on how our customers are using your favorite spices and blends!
***A quick reminder that Wild Patch Microgreens can be found in the shop, replenished weekly! Tell your friends!
Be well, and see you soon!
