I know change well. I have been changed in a moment, through loss and also love, but I have also grown in and out of versions of myself -- the type of changes that can take years to fully realize. I am in the middle of one of those changes now, the long and stretching kind. This change is taking me away from Helm. March will be my final month inside Cool Water Dry Goods. I am so grateful to Natalie for sharing her shop home with me this past year. It was the perfect chapter to close this season of my life, because it allowed me to practice distance without fully letting go just yet. Thank you to each and every one of you who supported this soulful, creative venture. What a gift this work has been. I am unsure if Helm will emerge in new ways in the future, and that feels okay. Sometimes we have to let go of what is good to make space for what is better. If you want to shop one last time, all remaining inventory (and some display items) have been reduced. Please buy it all up.

According to yesterday's poll, the majority of you are hoping to give and receive vintage housewares and art this season, and you want to shop in-store over online or even markets. I'm not sure if you were telling me what I want to hear, or if you are just here because we like all the same things. Either way, I hope you will support small businesses this season, when and where you can. It means so much to us.
