🪡💕 We’re Growing Our Seam Queen Team!

Exciting things are happening at Fitted Stitches, and we’re beginning our search for another talented seamstress to join our team!

We’re looking for an experienced alterations seamstress with strong sewing skills, a solid understanding of garment construction, and a passion for quality craftsmanship.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, has experience with clothing and formalwear alterations, and takes pride in the little details that make a big difference.

What we’re looking for:

🧵 Professional sewing and alterations experience

🧵 Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and alteration techniques

🧵 Ability to work independently and problem solve

🧵 Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship

🧵 A positive attitude and a team oriented spirit

Bridal alterations experience is a plus, but not required! We’re happy to provide training in our specialized techniques and studio processes. However, this is not an entry level position, and applicants should already have an established foundation in sewing and alterations.

📍 Cleveland, Tennessee

⏰ Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week

📅 Anticipated start date: January 2027

We’re starting our search early because finding the right person for our team is important to us!

At Fitted Stitches, we’re more than just a sewing studio. We’re a small, creative team that loves what we do, supports one another, and believes every client deserves to feel beautiful and cared for.

💍 2027 brides, it’s time to Save the Date for your alterations too!

Our 2027 books are open, and you don’t have to wait until your wedding is right around the corner to reserve your spot.

Once you’ve found your gown, you can go ahead and get your Bridal Gown Pinning on our calendar. Our schedule is available up to 365 days in advance, which means many of our 2027 brides can start booking now! 🤍

Your actual alterations will take place closer to your wedding day, but booking early means your place on our schedule is reserved.

Bridal Consultation? Bridal Gown Pinning? Formalwear Pinning? Prom? Steaming? We know all those options can get a little confusing, especially if you’ve never had alterations done before.

So we put together a quick guide to help you choose the right appointment for what you need.

One of the biggest questions we get is about Bridal Consultations vs. Bridal Gown Pinning. A consultation is completely optional and is perfect if you have questions, want to discuss possible changes, or would like to talk through pricing before getting started.

If you’ve already purchased your gown and you’re ready to move forward with alterations, you can skip the consultation and schedule your Bridal Gown Pinning. And remember, you can reserve that appointment as soon as you purchase your gown. You do not have to wait for your dress to arrive!

Being appointment only allows us to give our full attention to the client in The Parlour while also protecting the dedicated sewing time our team needs behind the scenes. 🧵🤍
