When I started Bookbees n’ Brew in May 2025, my goal was simple:
to create bookish things that felt different.
Not just bookmarks with pretty paper (though I love those too), but pieces made with intention—things people wouldn’t normally see or think to use. And instead of a blind date with a book, I wanted something more meaningful… something Bee-yond the Cover 🐝✨
I wanted kids—and adults—to open a wrapped book and discover a story they may have never picked up on their own. Something sweet. A little secretive. A little magical. A little bit of everything.
When I first started, many of my picks leaned toward historical fiction. But as this journey has grown, so has my heart—and my shelves. I’ve started curating what my customers (or as I lovingly call them, my guests) want to read: romance, fantasy, cozy escapes… and yes, even spicy, smutty reads I never thought I’d carry—but now proudly do 🔥📚
Because reading is about escape. About being somewhere else for a while.
And when I began creating book art—turning books into pieces filled with flowers—I wanted them to be more than décor. I wanted them to become part of someone’s home. Part of their story. Something to admire, enjoy, and live alongside.
That was my goal then.
And that’s still my goal now.
To keep building something meaningful.
To keep creating with love.
And to grow a community of people who love books, creativity, and a little magic—together 💛🐝
