There are dates you learn in history, and there are dates you remember exactly where you were. September 11, 2001 became one of those days for an entire generation.

A quarter century has now passed, but the responsibility to remember remains. Today, our thoughts are with the families who still live with the loss of that morning and with those whose final acts were spent helping others. Twenty five years later, September 11 still deserves our attention, our respect, and our remembrance.

Holidays like today have a way of bringing people home. Kitchens stay busy, the refrigerator gets opened a hundred times, and the house becomes the place where everyone gathers before heading out to enjoy the day.

From our family at L&B Appliance to yours, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable Independence Day. Thank you for continuing to support a local family-owned business. We appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of the homes where so many of life’s memories are made.

A lot of dads have a way of fixing things without making a big deal about it. Sometimes it’s a broken appliance, sometimes it’s a problem nobody else has noticed yet. They just handle it and move on to the next thing.

This Father’s Day, we’re thinking about the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who keep homes running, teach by example, and show up day after day. We hope you get the chance to slow down, enjoy some time with family, and have a great day.

Memorial Day is often spent with family, friends, and time away from the usual routine. Before the day gets busy, it is worth remembering why it exists.

Today is dedicated to the men and women who never came home. Their sacrifice left an empty seat at a table, a missing voice in a conversation, and a lasting impact on the families they left behind. We remember them with gratitude and respect, and we honor the freedom their sacrifice secured.

Some of the busiest rooms in a home tend to revolve around moms. Kitchens that somehow become gathering places. Laundry rooms that never seem to stay caught up. Schedules, meals, groceries, school mornings, late nights. A lot of life runs through those everyday routines.

At L&B Appliance, we get a front row seat to that part of home life every day, and it’s a reminder that the small things people do consistently often matter the most. We hope the moms spending today cooking, resting, hosting family, or finally sitting still for a few minutes know they are appreciated in ways that often go unspoken.

Easter is a reminder that our hope is not built on circumstances, but on the risen Christ. In a world that can feel heavy and uncertain, today points us back to the truth that light overcame darkness and life overcame death.

From all of us at L&B Appliance, we hope you have a blessed Easter filled with peace, gratitude, and time with the people you love most. He is risen.

Christmas looks different from behind a counter than it does in a living room. While many people are focused on meals, gatherings, and time off, we see the season through last-minute appliance deliveries, service calls that can’t wait, and customers trying to keep things running so their homes feel normal and comfortable during the holidays.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve helped families replace a refrigerator just days before company arrived, installed washers and dryers for homes preparing for a full house, and answered calls from people who simply needed something to work the way it should. None of that is flashy, but it matters. Our team shows up every day with the same goal we’ve had since 1985: do the job right and treat people fairly.

As Christmas arrives, we want to say thank you to everyone who has trusted L&B Appliance this year. Whether you stopped in to browse, needed help making a decision, or relied on us to get something fixed or installed, we don’t take that lightly. We’re grateful for the chance to be part of the everyday moments that make a house feel like home, especially during this season.

Merry Christmas!

The Parkview Elementary choir stopped by today and shared a few songs with us. We appreciate the students and the teachers who arranged it. It was a brief, genuine moment that brought a little seasonal atmosphere to an otherwise regular day.

Thanksgiving is a good reminder to slow down and appreciate the people and places that make home feel like home. Around our tables, in our kitchens, and in everyday moments, there is a lot to be grateful for.

All of us at L&B Appliance are thankful for the families who have trusted us in their homes and the community that has supported us for so many years. We hope your day is filled with good food, good company, and a moment to reflect on what truly matters.
